KDG does not disclose any personal information collected at our site, KDG analyses the behaviour on the web site in order to improve the users’ experience and ease at which they find information. Shipping Information For Our Products – Read More


U.S and International Products The bulk of our products come from the U.S.A. We place orders between 2-3 times a month. Generally, delivery times for our U.S products are between 2-4 weeks. These can, on the odd occasion, be altered due to shipping delays, public holidays or held up with New Zealand Customs we will contact you if there are any delays.

New Zealand Products KDG deals with New Zealand’s largest distributors we place orders with these suppliers most weeks. Delivery times are 2-4 days. If there are any issues with stock or delivery times we will be in contact.

All prices are displayed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and are inclusive of GST. Prices displayed on the KDG website are subject to change without notice. Our prices are updated frequently to reflect the exchange rate and ensure that you are getting the best deal.

    Please check your tracking details. If the courier has missed you there will be a card to collect. Any items not collected and returned to KDG will incur a subsequent delivery charge.


    Faulty or Damaged Goods, Returns, Cancellations

    DUE TO COVID-19, we are currently not able to accept or offer returns/exchanges on items already shipped.

    Faulty or Damaged Goods – Read More

    KDG will undertake to replace any faulty goods. Damaged or faulty goods will be either repaired or replaced at the discretion of KDG Damaged and faulty goods must be returned in accordance with our returns policy. This does not cover any product installed outside KDG. So give yourself peace of mind and get it installed properly.

    Return Policy – Read More

    Prior to returning, you must contact us. If the reason for return is our error, full credit (plus freight) will be refunded. Any defective parts must be reported to us within 48 hours (or 2 business days) of receipt of goods. No returns will be accepted after 14 days of receipt of goods. ALL KDG orders are subject to a 15% restocking fee if the return is found to not be a KDG error. Each item is inspected prior to packaging. KDG returns are returned for “credit on file” to be used for future orders.
    Returns are not available for the following items:

  • Any custom or made to order parts, including Pickguards
  • Any items that have been installed, used, opened and/or damaged in any way.
  • Special order or clearance items

    Cancellation must be made within 24 hours of placing your order. A 3% fee will be deducted to cover credit card costs. A 5% fee will be deducted to cover AfterPay costs.

    Workshop Pricing – Read More

  • (A) Workshop charges are billed by time spent on each job. Estimates will be provided prior to beginning work, however, all estimates are subject to clause C.
  • (B) Prices listed in our services section are all estimated or average prices for each job
  • (C) Additional issues will have an additional charge (for example, if your instrument needs to be modified to fit the product you are requesting, this may carry an extra charge. This may include instruments where unforeseen issues arise)
  • (D) It’s up to you to give us all the details and list any issue so we can accurately estimate.
  • (E) Minimum charge $35.00

  • Workshop Payments – Read More

  • (A) Payment terms are negotiated prior to beginning work.
  • (B) Eftpos, Cash, Bank Deposit, Credit Card, AfterPay Please note Credit cards will incur 3% bank surcharge fee and AfterPay will incur 5% bank surcharge fee
  • (C) All repairs to be collected and paid for within 7 days of the invoice date. After 7 days a $25 per week storage fee applies.
  • (D) Turn-around times are given in good faith.
  • (E) I understand all repairs must be paid for in full at time of collection. Prompt payment discounts are given in good faith and subject to change after the 7 days required payment period.
  • (F) I understand if I do not collect my instrument from Kenny Duncan Guitars within 90 days of completion that it will be assumed the instrument is abandoned and will be sold to recover outstanding charges.

    Shipping Information for shipping your guitar to us Our freight guidelines, criteria for free freight and info on how to safely ship your guitar can be found on our Services page. All Guitars must be shipped in a hard case. Heavy road cases and extra-large cases may have additional courier charges

    Tracking & Delivery Confirmation You will receive a shipment notification via email minutes after we ship out your order containing all carrier and tracking information.

    Which freight company do you use? We have been using PBT Couriers since our relocation to Dunedin in March 2018.

    KDG Liability Once your order or instrument leaves our door it is in the hands of PBT Couriers and their terms of Carriage. When your order or instrument is in transit, KDG is no longer liable for any loss or damage during freight. If there are any issues please contact us immediately and we will do our best to assist you.

    Is my instrument insured? Yes a Maximum of $2,000.00 Please read the PBT Conditions of Carriage for more info at the bottom of this page. For additional insurance coverage please contact your insurance provider.

  • Do you fix pedals or amps? No but we do stock pedal parts, books, tubes and bias kits.


  • KDG recommends if you are not confident or do not have the experience necessary to make adjustments or modifications to your instrument, please consider letting us take care of your modifications and installs. We have been modifying and servicing New Zealand’s guitars for the last 13 years, and are happy to help out. Purchases over $100 qualify for a 10% discount on our services.
